1. Do you sell to only other Dealers, or private buyers as well ?

Carsonexports : We welcome all buyers, private or dealer. Carsonexports sells primarily to dealers/importers. If you are an importer , we guarantee better service, supply, and product quality over any North American exporter. Carson or Jack would be happy to help any private buyer have a pleasant experience, while saving money importing direct from Canada. If you are a private buyer, in many countries, we can supply customs/registration agents to help get your new vehicle into the country

2. How many countries are you currently shipping vehicles to ?

Carsonexports : Currently, we send vehicles on a regular basis to Europe and Asia. In total, we have sold vehicles to customers in over 20 countries

3. How long have you been in business ?

Carsonexports: Carson Leasing / Exports has been incorporated since 1987. Our company owner operated many new and used car dealerships dating back 47 years to 1957, and our main sales staff has a combined experience of 79 years in the automotive trade.

4. Can you provide me with references ? I am concerned from past experiences

Carsonexports : We can provide references from many customers, retail and wholesale around the world, including international banks, Canadian Government and shipping agents. Each year since 1998 Carson Leasing/Exports has been nominated for the Exporter of the Year award by the Nova Scotia Provincial Government . For added security we welcome any customer to come visit us in Canada, as well as accepting both wire transfers and approved LC as payment for vehicles.

5. What kind of service can I expect dealing with Carsonexports ?

Carsonexports : What may set us apart from a lot of exporting dealers in North America, is our friendly phone and email service. We put our customers above all else, and always dedicate a lot of time on the phone to each individual. During the purchase of any vehicle (s), the dealer or private buyer will receive a extensive group of photos of each car upon delivery to us, and again on our delivery to the Halifax Dock for shipment. All documents pertaining to each vehicle are promptly shipped by courier to the customer. Our vehicles are always shipped clean and flawless ! The only surprise you will get with us is a good one. We truly appreciate any business we get from overseas, and this will not go unnoticed to any of our clients.

6. How long will it take for my vehicle to reach Europe when shipped ?

Carsonexports : ALL of our vehicles are shipped from the port of Halifax Nova Scotia Canada. One of the largest seaports in Canada, also the geographically nearest major seaport to western Europe. This being the case, transit times to much of Europe, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Gothenburg and others, are only 8-10 days. Shipping to Asia / Australia ranges from 20 to 35 days. Please enquire for shipping rates and transit times to your location . Additional time may be required should we need to transport your vehicle(s) to Halifax from another part of North America.

7. Does Carsonexports charge Canadian / USA Sales Taxes ?

Carsonexports : NO NO NO. We are fully HST/GST/PST licensed and NEVER charge any customer overseas, retail or dealer, the Canadian taxes on vehicle or parts purchases. If you attempt to buy from a US dealer or franchise dealer, in most cases they will charge you between 5-10% sales tax. The headaches of re-claiming the tax are HUGE and can take a very long time to be resolved. Our customers never have to worry about North American sales taxes

8. How much of the export experience does Carsonexports handle ?

Carsonexports : We buy / supply the vehicle, install or add parts/accessories when required, clean and detail the vehicle, and perform any mechanical repairs we see fit before shipment. Carsonexports then delivers your vehicle(s) to a container loading yard or the port of Halifax(if vehicles are shipping RORO) . We handle all Canadian export documentation, container booking , and bills of lading. All you have to do is collect the cargo when it arrives at a port near you.

9. What paperwork do I get with my new or used vehicle ?

Carsonexports : All vehicles we sell come with clean Canadian or US titles. In the case of new vehicles, we can provide the MSO / NVIS if required. We can offer carproof verification, and carfax guarantee's on every used vehicle we sell. In most cases we can provide detailed service history/invoices/work orders, for all used vehicles sold
